An Athens man died early Sunday in a one-car crash on Holt Road, an official said.

Limestone County Coroner Mike West said 19-year-old David Tucker was traveling north when his vehicle left the pavement, hit a culvert and flipped several times. The crash occurred shortly after midnight.

West said Tucker was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.

State troopers are continuing to investigate.
