UPDATE: East Limestone band trailer recovered

The truck and trailer stolen from the East Limestone High School marching band has been recovered, according to a press release.

The release said the trailer also appears to have everything still in it. A band parent was on the way to retrieve the items.

“With the help of our statewide media and an observant band parent the trailer has been found and turned over to the (Birmingham Police Department),” the release said.

Band director Jennifer Janzen thanked those who offered support after the theft of the equipment.
