Fredricks Outdoor is owned by Tom Fredricks, a Republican candidate for the State House District 4 race. The seat was held by Micky Hammon until he pleaded guilty last month to mail fraud charges.

The Republican primary for the House seat is set for Tuesday, Dec. 12, the same day as the special U.S. Senate race between Moore and Democratic challenger Doug Jones. Fredricks and two other Republican contenders — Parker Moore of Decatur and Tom Wilson of Decatur — will only appear on ballots in precincts within District 4 of the state House. One Democrat, Juanita Allen Healy of Decatur, also qualified.

Brooks’ congressional seat is being challenged by Republican State Sen. Bill Holtzclaw, R-Madison. The Republican primary for the seat is set for June 5, 2018.

Saturday’s political rally will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will be followed at 8 p.m. with a concert by country band Sawyer Brown. Admission is free to anyone wearing Fredricks Outdoor apparel.
