County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Kaleb Lee Barnhill, 20, of 7798 Holt Springer Road, Athens, probation violation on previous charge of possession of controlled substance

• John Wayne Davis, 43, of 21800 Cotton Belt Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charge of third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ELKMONT — Alabama license plate valued at $81.95, stolen between Sept. 24 and Oct. 7, unknown block Elkton Road

• ELKMONT — Ruger LCP .380-caliber pistol and U.S. currency, total value $270, stolen Oct. 8, 15000 block Sorghum Ridge Drive

• ATHENS — Legal paperwork of unknown value, stolen Sept. 25, 19000 block Easter Ferry Road

• ATHENS — 50 feet of wire and two breaker boxes, total value $700, stolen Oct. 3, 19000 block Airfield Street

Athens Police Department reported no new arrests Tuesday.

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:

• iPad Mini valued at $900, stolen Oct. 7, 300 block Vine Street

• Pair of painters pants valued at $25, stolen between Oct. 1 and 6, 900 block U.S. 72 East

• Wallet and three bank cards, total reported value $40, stolen from a vehicle Oct. 9, 700 block Market Street West

• Damage valued at $50 to a window between Oct. 8 and 9, 300 block Madison Street South

• Bushmaster XM-15 rifle, Armalite AR-15 rifle, WASR AK-47 rifle, Winchester 1300 Defender shotgun, Mossberg 500 12-gauge shotgun, Mossberg 500 .410-caliber shotgun, Savage AXIS .308-caliber rifle, Rock River AR-15 Lower Receiver, Remington 1100 12-gauge shotgun, 20 ammunition-filled magazines for a Bushmaster XM-15, 20 ammunition-filled magazines for an AR-15, seven ammunition-filled magazines for an AK-47, 300 .308-caliber bullets, 200 7.62×39 bullets, 500 .556-caliber bullets, gun safe and mounted deer head, total value $12,750, stolen between Oct. 7 and 9, 15000 block Kings Drive

• Antique silver butterfly clasp necklace, gold necklace with gold camel pendant, wedding band, gold dollar coin, Coffee High School class ring, rotary watch and six silver dollar coins, total value $1,400, stolen Oct. 9, 100 block Whitfield Drive
