Two wrecks occurred at 5 p.m. Monday on Alabama 251, leaving two people injured, according to Alabama State Troopers. 

State troopers said Thomas Harwood, 55, of Huntsville was injured after crashing a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle two miles north of Athens on Alabama 251. He was wearing a helmet, troopers said. 

A second three-vehicle wreck injured David Perry, 41, of Toney, troopers said. Perry was driving a 2001 GMC and wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers.
