A wind advisory remains in effect for Limestone County until 4 p.m. today as sustained winds will approach 25 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph are also possible in higher terrain locations.
Tree limbs may blow and any unsecured belongings could be damaged. Items like garbage cans, outdoor furniture and umbrellas should be moved to a secure location.
Winds this strong can also make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Extra caution is urged.
More rain is also expected today as the remnants of Tropical Depression Harvey move through the southeast. The weekend, however, will be dry and sunny with highs in the upper 70s (Saturday) and lower 80s (Sunday). Lows will be in the upper 50s both nights.
Highs Wednesday and Thursday will be in the mid-70s with lows in the lower-to-mid-50s.
