Police say a 15-year-old girl had loaned Tate, who is her mother’s boyfriend, a pair of sneakers. Tate allegedly refused to return the sneakers to the girl, and during an ensuing argument stabbed her in the arm.

The girl was treated at a hospital for serious injuries that were not life-threatening.

Tate was arrested and faces several charges, including domestic violence assault 2nd degree. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
