• Christopher Cody Adams, 31, of 10025 Sandlin Cemetery Road, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Nathan Craig Adams, 31, of 14600 Elk River Mills Road, Athens, possession of controlled substance

• Samantha Dawn Baugher, 41, of 20171 Wallace Lane, Athens, DUI (alcohol)

• Corey Denille Jefferson, 939 E. Strain Road, Athens, third-degree escape and first-degree criminal mischief

• Christopher Brian Mears, 30, of 22553 New Garden Road, Elkmont, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine)

• Brooklyn Jean Templeton, 25, of 1059 Willey Maulden Road, Lutts, Tennessee, fourth-degree theft of property and possession of controlled substance

• Tim Dewayne Wallace, 36, of 1310 E. Elm St., Athens, possession of controlled substance

• Brenda Lee Trotter, 56, of 185 Jomar Road, Ardmore, negotiating with non-negotiable worthless instrument

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Monday:

• ATHENS — Chifforobe, 2000-watt inverter, 1500-watt inverter, Cobra CB radio, hand truck, sports cards, two trunks and two Indian blankets, total reported value $11,100, stolen between May 1 and Aug. 11, 12000 block U.S. 72

• ATHENS — Taurus .38-caliber pistol valued at $200 stolen between Aug. 9 and 11, 25000 block Alabama 99

• ATHENS — Next mountain bike valued at $150 stolen between Aug. 11 and 13, 16000 block Carter Circle

• ELKMONT — Hilti grinder, Black & Decker jigsaw, 4-foot level, two battery chargers, two Hilti drills and eight batteries, unknown value, stolen between Aug. 7 and 10, 25000 block New Bethel Road

• ELKMONT — Smith & Wesson .38-caliber pistol valued at $500 stolen between Aug. 5 and 10, 23000 block Sugar Way

• ELKMONT — 18-foot dovetail trailer valued at $6,000 stolen between Aug. 10 and 11, 30000 block Bob Coffman Road

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Christopher Lee Johnson, 28, of 16170 Wales Road, Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of marijuana

• Heather Hamilton, 35, of 1400 N. Houston St., Athens, arrest for Decatur Police Department

• Mark Richard Adams, 25, of 13648 S. Reid Road, Athens, DUI (alcohol)

• Christina Marie Newcomb, 24, arrest for another agency

• Dexter James Pitman, 55, of 900 N. Jefferson St., Athens, third-degree burglary

• Marcus Dylan Powers, 22, of 1613 Fifth Ave., Athens, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia

• Tremain Dontay Williams, 28, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Athens, domestic violence (strangulation or suffocation)

• Thomas Louis Morris, 60, of 809 Natural Bridge Road, Hartselle, DUI (alcohol)

• James Andy Hodges, 53, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Monday:

• Keys valued at $5 stolen Aug. 11, 1200 block U.S. 72

• Drivers license, Esteem hearing aid, U.S. currency, purse, Redstone Federal Credit Union checkbook and eight credit cards, total reported value $50, stolen Aug. 10, 1400 block U.S. 72

• Camper battery, two boat batteries and construction scaffolding, total value $500, stolen Aug. 12, 800 block N. Jefferson Street

• Toyota Camry valued at $5,000 found abandoned Aug. 13, 2300 block South Hine Street

• Western Digital Technologies external hard drive valued at $179 stolen Aug. 14, 1000 block U.S. 72
