An event scheduled for tonight featuring former University of Alabama coach Gene Stallings and former Auburn University coach Pat Dye has been canceled.

A spokesperson for the Von Braun Center in Huntsville said Stallings suffered a minor stroke at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport while preparing to leave for Huntsville.

“He is in good spirits and is looking forward to rescheduling his Legendary Coaches events with Pat Dye in Huntsville and Montgomery as soon as doctors release him,” said Brooke Izzo, marketing and public relations manager for the VBC.

Ticket holders should return to their point of purchase for a refund. Ticketmaster purchasers’ refunds will automatically be processed.
