Residents of the city of Trussville in suburban Birmingham say they hear gunshots all day every day, and they’re coming from an indoor shooting range called Sheepdog Firearms.

WBMA-TV reports that about a dozen people went to the City Council this week with their concerns over the noise.
A co-owner of the gun range, John Massey, says he’s sympathetic to nearby residents. He says several sound specialists have come in, and material is being added to help muffle the shooting sounds.
Neigbhor Eric Oare says he has used the range, but something has to change. He says his children can hear gunfire from their bedrooms.
