Art classes

The Limestone County Council on Aging is hosting painting/art classes at each senior center throughout the county. They are open to anyone in the community who is 60 or older. If interested, call Madison Curnutt, 256-216-3897, to reserve a spot. Space is limited. The schedules are as followed:

• Athens Senior Center: Second Tuesday of each month, noon;

• Goodsprings Senior Center: Third Thursday of each month, 9:45 a.m.;

• Owens Senior Center: Third Wednesday of each month, 9 a.m.;

• East Limestone Senior Center: Third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m.; and

• Tanner Senior Center: First Thursday of each month, 10 a.m.
