A Scottsboro man employed at Limestone Correctional Facility is facing 28 counts of producing and possessing child pornography, records show.

Michael Dave Barnes, 58, was arrested Tuesday on the charges after Scottsboro Police served a search warrant at his home in the 3000 block of Julie Drive, records show.

He is facing 14 counts of production of pornography with minors and 14 counts of possession of child pornography, according Jackson County Jail records. 

He remained in the Jackson County Jail Thursday with bail set at $280,000.
