Art classes

Limestone County Council on Aging is hosting painting and art classes at each senior center throughout the county. Classes are open to anyone aged 60 and older. Those interested should call Madison Curnutt, 256-216-3897, to reserve a spot. Space is limited. The schedules are as followed:

• Athens Senior Center: Second Tuesday of each month at noon;

• Goodsprings Senior Center: Third Thursday of each month at 9:45 a.m.;

• Owens Senior Center: Third Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m.;

• East Limestone Senior Center: Third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.; and

• Tanner Senior Center: First Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
