PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Authorities have captured the second of two men wanted in a triple slaying in central Alabama.
Police say 35-year-old Marty Morgan was arrested Monday at an apartment complex in Montgomery.
Acting U.S. Marshal Tom Hession said at a news conference that officers surrounded Morgan and he surrendered. He wasn’t armed.
Two men are being charged with allegedly helping Morgan while he was on the run.
Morgan is being taken to the nearby city of Prattville, where police say is suspected in a robbery that left three men dead at a barber shop a week ago.
Court records aren’t yet available to show whether Morgan has an attorney. Another man was previously arrested in the shootings and charged with murder.
