Craft and art classes

Limestone County Council on Aging will begin hosting paint and craft classes at each senior center throughout the county. Open to anyone in the community who is 60 or older. If interested, call Madison Curnutt, 256-216-3897, to reserve a spot. Space is limited. The schedules are as follows:

• Athens Senior Center — Second Tuesday of each month at noon

• Ardmore Senior Center — Thursday at 9:30 a.m.; bring 12 pictures from one event to scrapbook

• Elkmont Senior Center — Second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.

• Goodsprings Senior Center — Third Thursday of each month beginning July 21 at 9:45 a.m.

• Owens Senior Center — Third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

• East Limestone Senior Center — Third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

• Tanner Senior Center — First Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
