NWS issues flash flood warning for parts of Limestone, Madison counties until 6:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a flash flood warning for southeastern Limestone County, southwestern Madison County and parts of Marshall and Morgan counties until 6:30 p.m.
At 3:29 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
Some locations that will experience flooding include southern Huntsville, Decatur, Hartselle, Redstone Arsenal, Priceville, Trinity, Owens Cross Roads, Falkville, Triana, Morgan City, Somerville, Valhermoso Springs, Basham, Laceys Spring, Farley, Florette, Neel and Whitesburg.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2-3 inches are possible in the warned area.
