Limestone woman arrested after repeatedly ramming boyfriend’s truck

A Limestone County woman was arrested on domestic violence charges Tuesday night after ramming her boyfriend’s truck with her vehicle, an official said.
Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Stephen Young said a caller reported a woman had run over a male on Wells Road and headed north. Deputy Terry Johnson responded to the call.

On his way to the scene, Johnson made contact with a Mitsubishi Montero with flat tires. The vehicle was driven by 45-year-old Denise Eder of 18285 Wells Road, Athens.
β(Johnson) escorted her back to the residence, where he found the victim, who had numerous lacerations and was covered with dirt,β Young said. βThe victim stated that he and Eder had gotten into a verbal altercation, and that she had rammed his truck repeatedly while he was in it, causing his injuries.β
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Eder was arrested on charges of second-degree domestic violence assault. No bond had been set as of Wednesday.
Investigator Jay Stinnett responded to the scene to gather evidence. Young said the case remains under investigation.
