Wahl, a full-time butterly farmer, said he was excited about the opportunity to serve the district. He added he takes the responsibility seriously and planned to be a watchman for the residents in the community.

“There’s a lot wrong in politics today, and I think it’s pretty clear that we need more integrity and common sense at every level of government. As a small businessman, I hope I can bring a fresh perspective to the political discussion,” he said in the release. “Faith, family and freedom are the most important things in my life, and that is why I got involved in politics. I want to help make a difference in the lives of the people around me. Government’s first priority should be serving the people, and I will always do my best to defend the God-given rights and freedoms of every individual.”
