County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Friday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations, or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Aaron Woodston, 56, of 1025 U.S. 29, Valley, public intoxication

• Brent Michael Bircher, 26, of 20298 Lasso Circle, Toney, two counts possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree burglary

• Jason Derrick Brooks, 40, of 27551 Tim Wagnon Lane, Athens, DUI (alcohol)

• Kristy Lynn Finney, 28, of 16569 Zehner Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (coercion)

• Angela Diane McCurry, 42, of 14736 U.S. 72, Athens, resisting arrest, violation of a protection order

• Barry Keith Sharp, 52, of 403 Woodridge Drive, Athens, DUI (alcohol)

• Sylvester Smith, 29, of 20005 Yarbrough Road, Athens, domestic violence assault

• Lakerrious Devontae Townsend, 23, of 12144 Lukers Way, Athens

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Thursday:

• ATHENS — Eight-volt tractor battery and 12-volt tractor battery, total value $180, stolen between May 6 and 11, 20000 block Cox Road

• Nine-gauge electric wife (no value given) and .38-caliber pistol valued at $300 stolen May 10, 21000 block Piney Chapel Road

• 42-inch Samsung TV and SCCY 9mm pistol, total value $1,000, stolen May 11, 21000 block Tillman Mill Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported no arrests Friday:

• Taurus Jerrell Leslie, 34, of 19277 Moyers Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment) and second-degree criminal mischief

• Casey Elizabeth Johnson, 27, of 16599 Jay St., Athens, probation revocation on previous conviction of third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Tracy Denise Kozack, 54, of 302 Acorn Lane, Huntsville, public intoxication

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported no incidents or thefts Friday:

• Theft of services ($152 cab fare) reported May 10 in the 900 block East Hobbs Street;

• Theft of $150 stolen May 10 from the Country Hearth motel

• Theft of license plate valued at $100 stolen between May 9 and 11, 1200 block Audubon Lane

• Damage to a mailbox valued at $75 reported May 12, 18000 block Yarbrough Road

• iPhone 6S valued at $600 reported stolen May 12, 100 block U.S. 31 North
