A Weigh and Pay commercial truck exceeded the 10-foot height restriction Tuesday at the overpass on Forrest Street in Athens. Weigh and Pay employees worked to remove air from the tires to lessen its height in order to remove it from the overpass. The bridge has a sign on both sides of it letting drivers know the maximum height for a vehicle to travel safely under it.
