County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Friday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations, or part of a grand jury indictment:

• John Lee Douglas, 27, of 024388 Frank Gossett Road, Athens, third-degree burglary, two county second degree illegal possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Christopher Lee Johnson, 28, of 16170 Wells Road, Athens, second degree illegal possession of marijuana, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, carrying an illegal gun

• Timothy Matt Ladner, 37, of 12644 Beech Fork Lane, Athens, failure to pay child support

• Farid Hakin Mujhid, 26, of 4902 Cotton Row NW, Huntsville, DUI

• Cathy Lynn Ridgeway, 46, of 20298 Lasso Circle, Toney, third-degree burglary

• Evelyn Frances Worthington, 31, of 015586 Shaw Road, Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia, advertising imitation drugs

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Friday:

• MADISON — Antique furniture, valued at $300, stolen from 10000 block Burgreen Road on May 3

• ATHENS — $4,000 cash, Ruger .22 pistol, Smith & Wesson .38 pistol, purple Easton bat, medications, total value $4,920, stolen during burglary from 22000 block Elkton Road on May 4.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Delano DeMarcus Bradley, 25, of 910 Parklane St., Huntsville, third-degree theft of property

• Gary Angelo Hall, 56, of 16609 Blackburn Rd., Lot 14, Athens, fourth-degree theft of property

• Carol Sue Hill, 57, of 326 Hine St., Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance

• Lindsey Renee Norton, 26, of 22380 Black Road, Athens, driving while license suspended

• Robert Marler Nixon, 60, of 100 Thomas Street, Athens, driving under the influence

• Randy J. Smeenk, 69, of 21525 Johnson Road, Athens, DUI

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Echo brand pole hedge trimmer, valued at $389, stolen from 700 block Commercial Drive, stolen between April 22 and May 3.
