County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Wednesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations, or part of a grand jury indictment:
• Catherine Smith Barker, 30, of 27425 Sweet Springs Road, Ardmore, two counts manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and third-degree theft
• Chad Andrew Bolin, 35, of 24981 Cotton Belt Road, Elkmont, two counts manufacturing a controlled substance, attempting to elude by any means, driving while license is suspended and improper lights
• Ricky Vaughn Bullington, 35, of 905 W. Bryon St., Athens, fourth-degree theft
• Reginald Bernard Chapman, 45, of 2414 U.S. 31 South, Athens, first-degree rape
• Traci Diane Fugatt, 38, of 15586 Shaw Road, Lot 13, Athens, fourth-degree theft
• Ciara Nicole Gean, 20, of Cullman, probation violation on previous charge of cruelty to animals
• Kenneth Walter Sims, 49, of 24321 Bill Walker Road, Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia
• Lavoris Kenta White, 40, of 20436 Green Meadow Road, Athens, failure to pay child support
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported no thefts Wednesday.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Willie Hardy, 57, of 18606 N. Jefferson St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (assault)
• Amy Beth Love, 33, of 15651 Eastep Road, Athens, arrest for Ardmore Police Department
• Norman Earl Batrum, 64, of 1103 Jackson Drive, Athens, probation revocation on previous conviction for third-degree domestic violence, third-degree domestic violence (menacing) and third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
• Christina Latress McCauley, 26, of 22859 White Oak Way, Toney, giving false identity to police officer
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Wednesday:
• 2013 Chevrolet Cruze valued at $8,000 stolen May 2 or 3 from 900 block South Clinton Street
• Mitsubishi Galant of unknown value, DeWalt hammer drill kit and Milwaukee impact wrench kit, total $761, stolen May 1 from 17000 block U.S. 72 West
