The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Monday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations, or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Charles Thomas Byrd, 75, 621 Mount Lebanon Road, Toney, driving under the influence (alcohol)

• Mark Anthony Deats, 48, of 25640 McClung Lane, Athens, chemical endangerment of a child and three counts interference with judicial proceedings

• Deontae Latrail Douglas, 19, of 15227 Mill Valley Drive, Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia (first offense)

• Mallory Diane Gilliam, 32, of 101 Stone Bend Circle, Harvest, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia

• Cortlan Basil Hicks, 26, of 1803 U.S. 72 West, Athens, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and second-degree promoting prison contraband

• Robert Elston Mace, 28, of 22823 Fain Road, Elkmont, using false identity to obstruct justice

• Matthew Korey Paul, 30, of 8100 Krystal Ridge Place, Louisville, Kentucky, public intoxication

• Tomas Lucia Perez, 36, of 404 Huffman St., Athens, DUI (alcohol) and hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Mitchell Lee Robbins, 46, of 17088 Leatherwood Drive, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Connie Hacker Smith, 52, of 18682 Bill Black Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Ratchet strap and two tarps, total $660, stolen from gravel lot next to Hardee’s restaurant between April 28 and 30

• Hood of Chevrolet Trailblazer sustained $600 damage due to criminal mischief in 300 block Shaw Street between March 20 and April 15

• City of Athens utility tag at Walmart Supercenter, 1011 U.S. 72 East, tampered with April 29

• Pork chops, Miracle Whip and chuck roll, total $32, stolen April 29 from Walmart Supercenter
