Earth Day is at Friendship United Methodist Church, so the city will not have to block any streets for that event, but there will be increased traffic on Lucas Ferry Road in that area.

Car and Bikes on The Square

Cars and Bikes on The Square will impact downtown streets. The four streets around the Limestone County Courthouse will be closed: Jefferson, Marion, Washington and Market streets. Marion Street at Market Street will be closed at an angle to allow motorists to use the drive-through window at Limestone Drug. Jefferson, Marion and Madison streets will be closed to the south to Green Street. Washington Street will be closed to the east to the alley or to the railroad tracks, depending on the number of vehicle entries. There will be increased pedestrian traffic, so motorists in the area should use caution.
