Amber Alert victim Elizabeth Thomas, 15, should be on her way home today after authorities found her and accused kidnapper Tad Cummins, 50, this morning at a remote cabin in Cecilville, California, according to authorities.

An anonymous caller alerted authorities of a possible siting of Thomas and Cummins at a remote cabin about 11 p.m. central time Wednesday, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

When TBI contacted the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office, they found out the caller had already alerted local law enforcement too.

When officers reached the scene, they identified the silver Nissan Rogue Cummins was last seen in through its VIN. Authorities said they watched the area for several hours before arresting Cummins Thursday morning.

Cummins faces state charges of aggravated kidnapping and a misdemeanor charge, and a federal charge of transporting a minor across state lines for the purpose of sexual intercourse.
