County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Wednesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:
• Randall Lynn Black, 46, of 23769 Norman Lane, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance
• Shaneah Marie Cole, 27, of 1201 Caver Heights SE, Florence, three counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument
• Ashley Nicole Hill, 28, of 29984 Easter Ferry Road, Lester, harassment
• Benjamin Allen Hill, 26, of 30618 Lester Road, Athens, failure to pay for gasoline
• Amy Beth Love, 33, of 29467 Ninth Ave., Ardmore, possession of a controlled substance
• Tyler Keefe Love, 29, of 29467 Ninth Ave., Ardmore, possession of drug paraphernalia
• Brandon Dwight Reed, 30, of 14710 Smith Drive, Harvest, second-degree forgery
• Charles Davis Smith, 61, of 1229 Griffin Road NW, Hartselle, driving under the influence (alcohol)
• Joshua Brandon Temple, 25, of 24386 Airport Road, Athens, exceeding reasonable road speed and driving while license suspended
• Octavio Resendiz Torres, 34, of 19632 Piney Chapel Road, Athens, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement
• James Daniel Tucker, 43, of 1500 U.S. 72 East, Athens, third-degree escape and fourth-degree theft
• Jonathan Keith Wells, 33, of 11691 Minor Hill Park, Goodsprings, Tennessee, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• ATHENS — Samsung cellphone and cellphone cover, total $205, stolen from 16000 block Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road April 10
• ATHENS — Clothing valued at $200 stolen from 16000 block Zehner Road between April 1 and 10
• ELKMONT — Jewelry and currency, total $200, stolen from 23000 block Slate Road April 10 or 11
• MADISON — 2004 white Chevrolet Malibu of undetermined value and a $250 saddle stolen from 1700 block Rockhouse Road April 10 or 11
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Angela Diane Cummings, 42, of 14736 U.S. 72 West, Athens, violation of domestic violence protection order
• Justin David Hughes, 20, of 21753 Hickory Hill Lane, Athens, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree theft of property
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Wednesday:
• Door frame at home in 1700 block Trace End Trail sustained $200 damage due to domestic violence criminal mischief April 11
• Driver’s-side front fender in 1300 block of U.S. 72 East sustained $100 damage due to criminal mischief between April 11 and 12
• 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer in 200 block Cloverleaf Drive used without authorization between April 11 and 12
• $860 stolen from 16000 block George Edith Lane between April 10 and 11
• $51 stolen from 1100 block Audubon Lane between April 10 and 11
