County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Teresa Marie Adams, 23, of 22555 Fain Road, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Jarrod Keith Bowling, 29, of 27434 McLemore Circle, Harvest, two counts of possession of a controlled substance

• Joshua Aaron Chavez-Roberts, 26, of 16813 Raspberry Lane, Athens, driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a vehicle

• Christopher Thomas Copeland, 36, of 2809 Mercedes Ave., Huntsville, DUI (alcohol)

• Valerie Lynn Copeland, 33, of 264 Old Winchester Road, New Market, public intoxication

• Angela Diane McCurry, 42, of 14736 U.S. 72 West, Athens, violating domestic violence protection order

• Jonathan Adam Moran, 36, of 27803 Sterling Road, Ardmore, DUI (alcohol)

• Justin Michael Skidmore, 32, of 23706 Miller Road, Athens, first-degree burglary

• James Daniel Tucker, 43, of 1500 U.S. 72 East, Athens, using false identity to obstruct justice

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ATHENS — Medications of undetermined value stolen April 6 from 17000 block Blackburn Road

• ARDMORE — Jewelry valued at $10,000 and coins valued at $3,000 stolen during burglary in 28000 block Alabama 251 between April 8 and 10

• ELKMONT — $167 in cash stolen April 9 from 16000 block Fort Hampton Road

• ARDMORE — Apple Xbox game console and seven games, total $650, stolen April 9 from 27000 block Alabama 251

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Priscilla Dean Evers, 33, of 202 Bullington Road, Athens, fourth-degree theft of property

• Derrick Hicks, 31, of 12324 Snake Road, Athens, fugitive from justice

• Kyle Andre House, 27, of 1505 Coleman Ave., Athens, discharging firearm into an occupied dwelling

• Kirk Harold Logan, 40, of 91 Vanzant Road, Dellrose, Tennessee, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree theft of property

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• $200 in currency, .38-caliber revolver, gold and brown wallet, Alabama driver’s license, credit and debit cards, Bank Independent card and VISA gift card, total $710, stolen during vehicle break in April 10 in 1300 block Levert Avenue

• Right front fender of BMW 328i sustained $300 damage due to criminal mischief April 10 in 100 block South Clinton Street

• T-shirts, shorts and three pairs of blue jeans, total $75, stolen during burglary April 10 in 700 block Hardy Street
