UPDATE: Athens, Limestone schools dismissing early due to possible weather threat

Due to possible severe weather, Athens and Limestone County schools will dismiss early today.

Limestone County Schools will release elementary students at 11:40 a.m. and high schoolers at noon.

Athens Elementary School will dismiss at noon.

Athens Intermediate School, Middle School and High School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
