• Mother/Daughter brunch. David’s Temple Missionary Baptist Church presents its annual Mother/Daughter Brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Family Life Center at the church. Guest speaker is Cynthia Nichols Webb of Sweet Home MB church. David’s Temple is at 11273 Stewart Road in Tanner.
• Mothers/Deacons march. The annual Mothers and Deacons March of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at 803 Westmoreland Ave., Athens. The Rev. • Lenten lunch. St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, at 207 E. Washington St., Athens, will hold its fourth Ecumenical Lenten Lunch of 2017 at noon Wednesday, March 29. The sermon will be given by the Rev. Kenny Baskins of First United Methodist Church. Lunch will be provided by First United Methodist Church. • Thankful Thursday Revival. The Greenbrier Baptist Church Thankful Thursday Revival series continues through March.
