County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:
• Brenda Moore Behel, 68, of 15165 Joseph Drive, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Blake Scott Burgreen, 23, of 644 Cullman Road, Arab, second-degree theft
• Rafael Ciprian Castro, 40, of 18414 Alabama 99, Athens, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement
• Audrey Seagroves Christa, 47, of 1040 Ford Chapel Road, Harvest, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Roberto Ali Gonzalez, 27, of 17241 Harwell Road, Athens, Hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement
• Marco Oraleus Hines, 38, of 102 Edinburgh Drive, Athens, first-degree possession of marijuana
• Walter Richard Leeman, 44, of 831 Grant St. SE, Decatur, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia
• Ralph Evans Lemay, 39, of 805 North Montgomery Ave., Sheffield, failure to pay child support
• Shatner Oneal Tisdale, 27, of 7901 Greenbrier Road, Madison, third-degree domestic violence, attempting to elude a police officer
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• ATHENS — $1,565 stolen between March 15 from 12000 block Friend Road
• ATHENS — Kay banjo and violin, copper lantern, movie projector, 12 movie reels, 85 albums, 110 45-rpm records, three cameras, three cowboy hats, small movie projector, 15 small movie reels, total value $5,700, stolen between March 17-20 from 17000 block Wells Road
• ATHENS — .38-caliber pistol, valued at $300, stolen March 20 from 16000 block Albert Road
• ATHENS — license plate, valued at $15, stolen between March 19-20 from 17000 block Holland Heights
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Miranda G. Gieger, 34, of 15361 Hastings Road, Athens, two counts of third-degree criminal trespass
• Zachary Bruce Baker, 30, of 31037 Butler Drive, Ardmore, Tennessee, arrest for another agency
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:
• Apple iPhone 5, valued at $350, stolen between March 18 and 20 from 14000 block Mooresville Road
• Clothing and auxiliary cable, total value $90, stolen March 18 from Wal-Mart
• Criminal mischief to window, valued at $200, between March 13 and 20 in 500 block Julian Newman Street
• Sixty newspapers, value $75, stolen between March 4 and 19 from 1200 block West Market Street
• Troy-Bilt push mower, valued at $300, stolen between March 19 and 20 from 600 block Irvin Street
