Buffalo Wild Wings giving away free wings for a year at Athens grand opening

- The Athens location of Buffalo Wild Wings is tentatively set to open March 20. The store's general manager plans to hire 150 employees and is still in need of cooks, servers, bartenders and hosts.
The grand opening of Buffalo Wild Wings in Athens is 11 a.m. Monday, March 20. The restaurant will reward the first 100 people through the door with a coupon book good for one free snack, traditional or boneless wings, once a week, for an entire year.
The company advised a line may start forming as early as Sunday evening and to be respectful and play fair. A manager will be present to keep things in order.
“We are so excited to be a part of this community,” the company said in a Facebook post. “You’ll be given items at certain points through the evening and morning that you will turn in to claim your prize.”
