County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Wednesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Kellie Michelle Carruth, 47, of 908 Washington St., Athens, third-degree forgery

• Brandy Ogle Gentry, 40, of 3006 Flag Circle, Madison, public intoxication and resisting arrest

• Chris Scott Luster, 47, of 2047 Springfield Road, Chelsea, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Virginia Shavonne Lymon, 38, of 29889 Second Ave., Ardmore, possession of a controlled substance: methamphetamine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Joey Todd Phillips, 45, of 1511 Pine St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance: possession of dangerous drugs

• Robert Andrew Roberson, 50, of 690 Rolin Hollow Road, Ardmore, Tennessee, possession of a controlled substance: methamphetamine possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal littering

• Keith Elmo Taylor, 48, of 22369 Smith Road, Athens, unauthorized use of a vehicle

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following theft Wednesday:

• ELKMONT — Staffordshire terrier valued at $800 stolen March 13 or 14 from 23000 block Slate Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Elizabeth Anne Case, 33, of 303 E. Pryor St., third-degree theft

• Barry Lavon Chambers, 54, of 15152 Reid Road, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Wednesday:

• $260 in currency and a Clarion CD player valued at $200 was stolen March 14 in 1300 block Ryan Street

• Two Lifeproof cellphone cases valued at $59.94 stolen March 15 from Wal-Mart

• $100 in damage reported to a window in 1400 block Malone Street

• $200 in damage reported to a windshield in 1000 block Washington Street

• $200 in currency stolen March 15 in 200 block Wellness Way
