County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Roberto Ali Gonzalez, 27, of 17241 Harwell Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Billy Eugene Kirby, 39, of 101 W. Elm St., Athens, first-degree burglary and violating Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act for failing to register/report

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ATHENS — Smith & Wesson .32-caliber pistol valued at $360 stolen during burglary March 13 from 15000 block U.S. 72

• ATHENS — Medications valued at $54 stolen from 14000 block Brownsferry Road between March 7 and 9

• TANNER — $3,500 stolen March 8 from 20000 block Harris Road

• ATHENS — 1996 Chevrolet Suburban valued at $5,000 stolen March 13 from 12000 block Lucas Ferry Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Tuesday:

• Mark Anthony Pride, 51, 304 Gillespie Road, Madison, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:

• Two concrete planters valued at $400 damaged due to criminal mischief in 300 block West Market Street between March 10 and 13

• $260 cash and Clarion brand compact disc player, total $460, stolen during vehicle break-in March 14 in 1300 block Ryan Street

• Sony PlayStation 4 game console and Vizio 55-inch LED television, total $1,614, stolen from Rent-A-Center at 1031 U.S. 72 East through fraudulent leasing between Dec. 9, 2016, and March 14
