County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Wednesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Joshua Joseph Hamer, 33, at 12028 Beechfork Lane, Athens, third-degree criminal mischief

• Chad Everett Malone, 25, of 20753 Harris Road, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Patrick Oneal Malone, 44, of 700 N. Houston St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Matthew David Norton, 36, of 17475 Harwell Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Jerry Samuel, 44, of 415 Harrison St., Union City, Tennessee, extradition hold

• Terri Lynn Schrimsher, 43, of 15069 Zehner Road, Athens, DUI (alcohol) and second-degree manufacture of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)

• Ashley Nicole Stout, 20, of 1407 Locust St. SE, Decatur, breaking and entering of a vehicle

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• HARVEST — Brown purse, value $50, stolen Feb. 28, 14000 block Dupree Worthy Road

• ELKMONT — Blue PlayStation 3 and three games, total value $103, stolen Feb. 28, 16000 block Fort Hampton Road

City arrests/thefts

The Athens Police Department reported no new arrests or thefts as of press time on Wednesday.
