Deputy Stephen Young, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Office, said deputies and tracking dogs from Limestone Correctional Facility, the state prison off Nick Davis Road, were still hunting for Jason Clay Mace, 25, of Elkmont, about 5 p.m. in the area around Harris Loop, just northwest of Athens.

“Deputies have recovered narcotics, a cellphone and a pistol during the track,” Young said.
