Calhoun Community College Gospel Fest set for Feb. 24

Calhoun Community College is set to host the annual Gospel Fest concert later this month, according to a press release.
The 27th annual event is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, in the student center of the school’s Huntsville campus. It is free to the public and light refreshments will be served.
Scheduled performers include the Calhoun Chorale, Calhoun alumnus Evelyn Sisk, The Committed A Cappella Chorus, Lauryn Sisk, Athens High School Choir, Thirty One Ten, Dynamic Praise and saxophonist Dr. Reginald Jackson.
“Calhoun’s Annual Gospel Fest is a great opportunity for individuals from all walks of life to come and enjoy the beautiful sound of gospel music,” said Dr. Patricia Wilson, dean of Student Services. “This event has grown tremendously over the years and we hope to have a large turnout from students, faculty, staff and the community.”
