County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Thursday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:
• Bobby Joe Allen, 41, of 13225 U.S. 72 West, Athens, third-degree receiving stolen property
• Sherilyn Leigh Cruger, 31, of 2209-B Little Valley Road, Hoover, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Paulette Marie Davis, 54, of 16670 Fort Hampton Road, Athens, holding for extradition
• Caitlyn Joyce Dover, 22, of 62 Schip Lane, Ardmore, Tennessee, second-degree theft and four counts of third-degree forgery
• Steven Eugene Hacker, 25, of 30597 Lester Road, Athens, second-degree theft
• Phillip Andrew Preston, 26, of 2011 Princeton Blvd., Huntsville, driving under the influence of alcohol
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Thursday:
• ELKMONT — Medications, no value given, stolen Dec. 24 in 13900 block Robinson Lane
• TANNER — Dovetail 18-foot car trailer, value $3,500, stolen between Dec. 26 and 28 in 11800 block U.S. 31
• HARVEST — White gold diamond ring, value $3,000, stolen between Dec. 26 and 27 in 29700 block Thunderpaw Drive
• ATHENS — White gold diamond ring and white gold wedding band, total value $1,391, stolen between Dec. 12 and 27 in 14000 block Hammonds Road
• TANNER — Utility pole and electrical box, GE air conditioner and Whirlpool air conditioner, total value $600, stolen between Nov. 24 and Dec. 24 in 10000 block Lucas Ferry Road
• ATHENS — Round-front china cabinet, china cabinet, two green kitchen cabinets, green cabinet, kitchen table and six chairs and gray 3-foot safe, total value $3,000, stolen between Dec. 7 and 27 in 16200 block Blackburn Road

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Thursday:
• Heather Nichole Legg, 25, of 25740 Salem Minor Hill Road, Lester, third-degree criminal trespass
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following theft and incidents Thursday:
• Damage to mailbox, value $55, Dec. 27 in 800 block West Sanderfer Road
• Criminal mischief to household goods, value $25, Dec. 28 in 300 block Chestnut Street
• Criminal mischief to rear hatch of Ford Explorer, value $300, Dec. 21 in 1100 block U.S. 72 East
• TCL 43YP130 43-inch flat-screen TV and Samsung BD-J5760 Blu-ray player, total value $460, stolen Dec. 28 in 1200 block Audubon Lane
