County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Steven Thomas Clark, 59, of 902 Austin St. SW, Decatur, third-degree burglary

• Jayson Clinton Roberts, 47, of 1508 W. Market St., Athens, public intoxication

• Michael Wayne Worthey, 58, of 16862 Menefee Road, Athens, possession of controlled substance

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• TANNER — Nikon camera with case, value $600, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Dec. 9 in 19700 block Lorenzo Lane

• TONEY — Alabama car tag, value $67, stolen Dec. 15 in 26100 block Johnson Lane

• ATHENS — Speaker cables, drum parts, silver case with cables, two bags of cables, ringer mixer and medications, total value $495, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Dec. 18 in 25900 block Pepper Road

• ELKMONT — Wild game camera, value $125, stolen between Nov. 20 and 28 (reported Dec. 19) in 27200 block Oak Grove Road

• ATHENS — Medications and driver’s license, no value given, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Dec. 17 in 19300 block Baker Hill Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Christina Johnson Benson, 38, of 708 N. Clinton St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• David Eugene Johnson, 50, of 1806 Levert Circle, Athens, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Eric Zovonzelle Miller, 35, of 708 N. Clinton St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following theft and incident Tuesday:

• Lost wallet, value $10, Alabama driver’s license, debit card, cash and Medicaid card, no value given, on Dec. 19 in 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Women’s pants and shirts, total value $86, stolen Dec. 10 in 1700 block U.S. 72 East
