TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the capital murder, murder and theft convictions of 38-year-old Alexius Rhamon Foster, who is convicted in the deaths of two people.

Al.com reports that Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange announced the ruling Tuesday.

Foster was convicted in November 2015 of the capital murder of his uncle, George Foster, Jr., and for the murder of 30-year-old Antonio Williams.

Authorities have said George Foster was stabbed to death and robbery was likely the motive. They have also said Antonio Williams was fatally shot. Both were killed in 2013.

Foster was sentenced to concurrent life sentences without the possibility of parole for his capital murder conviction. He was also sentenced to life in prison for his murder conviction and 20 years in prison for his theft conviction.
