A Madison man stands accused of raping his girlfriend at their home in Madison-annexed Limestone County.
Jarvis Patrick, 52, of 121 Castlewood Drive, has been charged with first-degree rape in the case, Limestone County court records show.
The 53-year-old alleged victim obtained an order of protection from Patrick from a Limestone County judge following the alleged attack. She reported the attack to Madison Police Department on Nov. 28.
According to the incident filed by a Madison officer, the victim said Patrick raped her about 3 a.m. Nov. 28.
Under questioning, Patrick denied engaging in sexual intercourse with his girlfriend on Nov. 28. He said, however, he did on Nov. 29. When asked if the act was consensual, he said he “would rape nobody.”
Patrick was released from the Limestone County Jail Monday after posting a $25,000 bond.
