County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Wednesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Robert Dain Joines, 35, of 1533 Buena Vista Drive SE, Decatur, possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana

• Jeremy Germaine Lassie, 32, of 21741 Compton Road, Athens, third-degree theft

• Kathleen Elizabeth Lechman, 30, of 117 Gibbon Drive, Harvest, third-degree burglary

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS — Kubota 1100 4-by-4 diesel, value $20,000, stolen Dec. 5 in 23500 block Elkton Road

• ATHENS — 2008 Chevrolet S-1 3500 truck, no value given, stolen Dec. 5 in 23100 block Pepper Road

• ATHENS — Samsung television, Series 3 DVR, Fujikura fiber optic cleaner, Acterna telecommunications tester and one Regions Bank check, total value $1,850, stolen Dec. 6 in 23800 block Mooresville Road

• ATHENS — Four Cragar rims and two Jeep Moab rims, total value $1,400, stolen Dec. 6 in 20700 block Harris Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Harold Roger Zills, 65, of 1615 Cobblestone Court, Montgomery, arrest for other agency

• Tony Newton Joles, 26, of 12267 Lawngate Road, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Nintendo 3DS gaming system, value $160, stolen Dec. 5 in 900 block East Hobbs Street

• PNC Bank debit card, brown Remington wallet, cash, Alabama driver’s license, rapid! pay card and other miscellaneous cards, total value $95, taken during breaking and entering a vehicle Dec. 6 at Wal-Mart
