County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Brett Leigh Gurley, 24, of 3392 Maysville Road, Huntsville, driving while license suspended

• Kristie Elizabeth Johnson, 34, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, lot 32, Athens, bond revoked on previous charges of identity theft and manufacture, sell and transfer of precursors

• Betty Terry Jones, 66, of 18844 Highway 157, Moulton, DUI (controlled substances)

• Jarvis Patrick, 52, of 121 Castlewood Drive, Madison, first-degree rape

• Beth Alyson Shaw, 45, of 18646 Cox Road, Athens, unlawful attempt to purchase ephedrine or pseudoephedrine

• Fernando Diaz Zainos, 50, of 3184 Carousel Court, Hoover, holding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ARDMORE— $900 stolen in theft by deception between Nov. 19 and Dec. 5 in 24900 block Barnes Road

• ELKMONT — Four-wheeler parts, no value given, stolen between May 1 and Dec. 5 in 22300 block New Garden Road

• ELKMONT — Ten checks and a debit card, no value given, stolen between Dec. 1 and 3 on Slate Road

• ATHENS — Several pet grooming items, no value given, stolen between Dec. 1 and 3 in 17000 block U.S. 72

• ATHENS — Boston Terrier, value $350, stolen in theft by deception Dec. 1 in 700 block South Clinton Street

• TANNER — Jar of coins, .82 long rifle, .410-gauge shotgun, and Xbox 360 gaming system, total value $930, stolen Dec. 2 in 19800 block Houston Lane

• ATHENS — Beer, two apples, T-shirt, pants and sandals, total value $33, stolen Dec. 6 in 24300 block Pepper Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported no new arrests Tuesday.

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following theft Tuesday:

• Oberto, Duke’s and Matador beef jerky, total value $21, stolen Dec. 5 at Publix
