Investigators are seeking information about a teen found injured on the side of Interstate 565 last week in Huntsville.

About 9:50 p.m. Nov. 28, an E-911 dispatcher received a call about a person lying on the side of I-565 near Maysville Road, said Lt. Stacy Bates, public information officer for Huntsville Police Department. It was dark and raining heavily at the time. The victim — a special needs teenager — was suffering from injuries to his head, arms and legs. He has been unable to tell anyone how he was injured. It is believed he was either hit by a vehicle or thrown from of a vehicle.
