Judging will start each morning at 8 a.m. with Best of Show being awarded at 5 p.m. Admission is free to the public but parking will cost $5 per vehicle per day. Only dogs entered into the Cotton Cluster are allowed in the arena.
“We are delighted to welcome spectators back to the annual Cotton Cluster dog show in Priceville,” said Chris Putman, president of the Decatur Alabama Kennel Club. “Not only is this a fun activity for families but it is the perfect place to talk to breed experts about topics such as training, grooming and the right breed for your lifestyle. An AKC dog show is also a great place to start your search for a responsible breeder.”
The 2015 edition of the Cotton Cluster included 126 different breeds of dogs entered from over 40 states. Dogs also came from as far away as Canada, England, Brazil and China. Many of those dogs went on to compete in the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show with several of those taking Best of Breed honors.
