Kaley Greer, the 16-year-old Ardmore High School student-athlete injured in a Friday night crash has passed away.

Ardmore High School Principal Glenn Bryant said Greer passed away sometime Monday morning and students at the school have been informed. Both Hughes and Limestone County Schools Superintendent Dr. Tom Sisk said additional counselors and staff would be on the hand to speak to grieving students.

Bryant said pastors who have relationships with students would also be permitted on the school’s campus to talk to any student who needs counseling.

Arrangements will be announced as they become available.
