A prayer vigil for an Ardmore High School student seriously injured in a Friday night crash has been scheduled for Sunday, according to social media sources.

Kaley Greer, 16, was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Hospital after being injured in a crash in the parking lot of First Baptist Church on Fifth Street in Ardmore. Six students were riding in a pickup truck when it crashed into a tree in the church parking lot.

Glenn Bryant, principal of Ardmore High School, has scheduled the prayer vigil for 3 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium. A family member posted the following about Greer’s condition:

“We are continually praying for a miracle at the children’s hospital at Vanderbilt. Pray with me please for God to show his power. Our prayer is that the swelling will go down in her brain, and she will come out of the coma. Hey it could happen. There has been no change, she is stable but critical. The next 24 hours will hopefully give us more answers. I think they are going to do a couple scans tomorrow. … We are selfish and we want her to wake up and be okay. God has a plan, we are not sure what it is, but HE has a plan. Thank you for praying for and with us. Blessing to you all tonight….tell your prayer warriors at church tomorrow.”
