I would like to express my extreme disappointment at reading about the misguided liberal leadership of the Southern Baptist Association Convention voting to ban the display of the Confederate Flag. I have great-grandfathers who fought on both sides in the Civil War and I believe they were all honorable men. The SBC would not even consider a clause stating that some believe as I do that the Confederate Flag is a symbol of our southern heritage and not a hate symbol. Since the SBC is now more political than religious I no longer support the Southern Baptist Association.
