County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Rufina Mendoza, 29, of 17241 Harwell Road, Athens, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Mickey Joel Paulk, 31, of 17930 Cave Branch Road, Elkmont, second-degree receiving stolen property and three counts of bond revocation on a previous charge of first-degree theft

• Walter Tyrone Spencer, 43, of 709 Cahaba Manor Trail, Pelham, second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Joslynn Sierra Winston, 19, of 15923 Dupree Dr., Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Ronald Huston Young, 69, of 18414 Alabama 99, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (reckless endangerment)

 

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported no new thefts Thursday.

 

 

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Rickie Dean Wilson, 54, of 803 Brownsferry St., Athens, second-degree criminal mischief

• William Ray Morrison, 56, of 110 N. Thomas St., Apt. 213, Athens, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Christopher Everett Jones, 21, of 1418 E. Elm St., Apt. 6F, Athens, giving a false name to law enforcement and public intoxication

• Destiny M. Miller, 19, of 16452 Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, third-degree theft of property

 

 

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following theft Thursday:

• Computer hardware/software, valued at $350, reported stolen between Aug. 19-26 in 1400 block East Elm Street

• Two motorcycle batteries and three car batteries, total value $26, reported stolen Sept. 2 in 800 block South Jefferson Street

• Money, valued at $250, reported stolen between July 22 and Sept. 2 in 300 block Suffield Street

• EOS brand lip balm, valued at $2.96, reported stolen Sept. 2 from Walmart
