At the same time, United Way officials are planning 18th annual Week of Caring Community Celebration on Sept. 10.

During the event, United Way will celebrate and honor the community volunteers and retired educators who make a difference each day.

Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Family Life Building at the corner of Hobbs and Clinton streets, followed by the Week of Caring program and celebration at noon.
