Upgrades to Alabama 251, U.S. 31, Lindsay Lane part of Monday briefing

Athens City Council members will hear a presentation on improvements coming to Alabama 251 and U.S. 31 as well as Lindsay Lane before their regular council meeting Monday. Public Works Director James Rich will deliver the 15-minute briefing on the projects at the start of the 4:30 p.m. work session. Council members will then discuss other items on the agenda before their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.
Both the work session and meeting are open to the public and will be held in the municipal courtroom of the Athens Police Department at 951 E. Hobbs St.
